It’s our favourite time of the year again!! The other day, we were invited to visit the Universal Studios Singapore to soak in the Christmas magic that they have put together this year- A Universal Christmas!

Their Christmas special programmes and enchanting festive displays all over the park runs from 1 December to 1 January with extended hours until 9pm. In addition to their usual thrilling rides and thematic attractions, guests can look forward to energetic live performances featuring classic Christmas carols and tunes, dazzling light shows and fireworks display. With their favourite Characters no less!

During the day, you can catch “Under The Mistletoe starring Marilyn Monroe and Betty Boop” as the crews present you a mishmash of old school Hollywood glamour with Christmas classics.

Don’t miss out the Santa’s Snowy Sleigh Ride parade at the New York & Hollywood zones featuring Santa Claus with his reindeers and elves dancing to the holiday tunes. You will get to take pictures with Santa at the end of it with him on his sleigh right in front of the 15m glistening Santa’s Christmas Tree House.

The Santa’s Workshop is also of the highlights we participated in. It is highly interactive and I’m sure all the kids will love it! The workshop is curated in such a way where kids(or adults) get to go through an adventurous process of elves recruitment. Each zone requires them to complete a simple elf task as a group to earn stamps on their personalized elf certificate which they will get to keep later on.

Scarlett being intrigued by every setup.

Swing into the Pantages Hollywood Theatre for a 30 minutes special production called “Oscar’s Grouchmas” with The Sesame Street characters. We took the chance to cool down from the hot weather. Scarlett was fuss-free the whole time during the show and will clap to the beat occasionally, I guess she really enjoyed it!

There were also other celebratory performances and meet-and-greet sessions at various parts of the park that we didn’t manage to catch such as Mel’s Rockin’ Christmas Show, Madagascar’s
zoosters Alex and Gloria at King Julien’s Tropical Christmas Party, as well as Dance for the Magic Christmas Beans by Puss in Boots.

It was a pity we couldn’t stay for the nighttime programmes, which includes World of Stars at New York zone which apparently is a singing and dancing performance that combines acrobatics, special effects, snowfall, and visual projections to create an extraordinarily appealing whimsical show.

For those looking for gifts or collectibles, you can get them delivered to your loved ones(or yourself) for free when you spend above $100 at their retail stores!

A Universal Christmas is included with regular admission to Universal Studios Singapore. Singapore
residents enjoy discounts on admission at only S$72 for an adult one-day ticket (U.P. S$76), along with a
complimentary S$5 retail voucher**. Guests who wish to enter the park after 5pm to experience the
festivities enjoy discounted admission at S$55 (adult), S$50 (child) and S$98 (1 adult & 1 child). For more
